Default Rear bumper cover popped out. Need to put it back.

Hi
Can anyone tell me how I go about popping the cover back on the rear bumper of my 08 V70 without causing noticeable damage? It seems very firmly held out of place so I'm thinking it'll require a lot of effort.

Many thanks in advance.

The front bumper is held on in the same way and assuming it's not shifted along slightly (doesn't look like it has) a very firm thump with a closed fist was all I used to clip it back on. I'd gently clean it a little first, just in case you slip and grind some dirt along/into the paint.

Assuming they are the same as XC70, just scan along the video, he removes complete bumper, then puts back at the end.

Thanks both. I've tried a "gentle" whack but I don't think I was firm enough. I'll loosen the cover as per the video though - should be the same so I'll hope for success.

Have a great day!
