240 Wheels
I've recently aquired a fairly knackered 1988 240GLT as a stablemate for my not quite so knackered 1987 240DL. Can anyone tell me if the alloys from the GLT (195/60 R15) will fit the DL (185/80 R14) and vice-versa?

RE: 240 Wheels
The alloys from you 1988 240 GLT will fit directly on to your 240DL
and vice-versa. The only thing that you may have to watch is the tyre sizes that they do not give false speedo readings due to using a bigger/smaller size of tyre. Remember to notify your insurance company if you fit alloys to a car that does not have them as standard specification, some companies look upon this as making the car more desirable to a thief, and may not pay out in the event of a claim. Good Luck kev240. |
