Tyre pressures?
What tyre pressures should I be sticking in to my 93 940 estate?

I run mine at F = 32 psi. R= 36 psi. Tyre wear appears OK.

I would tend to run a bit higher at the front due to tyre wear and not getting them up to temperature that much. Maybe 30 all round. You don't want to go too high as it will reduce braking.

Mfr spec is 28F-30R for low loading, but front tyres tend to get outside shoulders rubbed off, especially if you drive hard and do short jounreys that don't get the temps up.

There should be a tyre pressure sticker on the drivers door when you open it but the recommended pressures by others are a good start.
I run my 760 at 30F, 32-34R, depending on whether i'm carrying a load or not. Some experimentation might be needed for your choice of tyre and the roads you drive on.

no rules
i run 32 psi all round....a little harder at front o prevent wear and a little harder at rear to provoke oversteeer! All depends how and what you use car for

I've run at Mfr spec (28f and 30r) for three years and never had any issues. If that's what Volvo say it'll do for me
Tyre wear is fine on mine.

My 940 saloon says 28psi front and rear so that's what I run it at on standard size wheels and tyres, Volvo put a lot of effort in to designing these cars so they know what they're talking about.
