Default Drivetrain slop

On my 940, when I get on or off throttle, I feel kick/bang to the body from rear axle or drive shaft. I already replaced the drive shaft center support and torque rods bushings. Can it be the rear subframe bushings or something else?

I would suggest the torque rod bushes causes that clunk/bang but as you have replaced them I'm at a loss I'm afraid

Any rattle when switching off the engine? Could be the DMF on its way out.

+1

I would also check the fixing points at the rear subframe where the torque rods bolt up to make sure the holes haven't elongated out.

The above happened to me, I ended up having to weld up some thick washer to the rear subframe as well replacing the bolts as I noticed that the threaded section of the bolt was the culprit. I used bolts that had a longer unthreaded section, so the unthreaded section makes contact with the washer/sub-frame as opposed to the reduced cross-section of the thread.

Given you've lowered it, i would also look at the bushes first but also the UJ on the porpshaft where it connects to the diff as you've permanently altered the diff nose angle by lowering it.

Thanks guys, clutch is already swapped for single mass with diesel setup, UJ was also checked not a while ago (without noticeable play). I will check the subframe holes. Also thinking about mounting some camera under the car, so I can see the movements
