Default C70 2007 d5 battery drain

Hi, I've got a 2006/2007 C70 D5 after a week the battery is dead is there a common fault I can look at, battery, alternator & belt all ok

If it's the original battery, maybe it's simply terminal old age and you need a new one.

check that the light switch is in the on position . in the side light position the lights stay on even with the key out and car locked you wont be the first person to be caught out by this volvo quirk ask me how i know

It doesn't take much to drain a battery, particularly when it's old. I finally traced a drain on my old C70 to the light on the vanity mirror - the switch was stuck on even when closed. One tiny lightbulb easily flattened the (old, tired) battery overnight.

Go round it when dark looking for any lights you can spot.
