I'm not talking about buying uprated shocks or coilovers! I've got the factory sport dampers with h&r 40 mm lowering springs
That is how the car will stay I will be sticking with my choice to tyres! I have used yokohama tyres on previous vehicles (hillman imp) and had nothing but a good time with them and the hundreds of thousands of other people that use them I don't care what country's fit what tyres! I will be fitting my own choice of tyre because I trust them I won't be buying cheep disks!!!!!!! It's people such as your self that is ultimately destroying the human race, by writing stupidly long dribble over a forum Making said people read that dribble preventing them from being productive and curing disease ' s and stopping world famine

I honestly have no idea how he hasn't been removed from the forum...
Just do what I did and add him to your ignore list. You'll never have to see his crap 'till someone quotes his post. |

Maybe newly registered x40 owners should be made aware of his posting habbits before being allowed to post? Then the shock and awe of the amount of bo11ocks that your first innocent post will attract will not hurt as much?

v40 1.9 DS ? DI ? TD?
having trouble finding rear spring & dampener for my 2001 v40, my logbook & insurance policy all state my car as a 1.9DS going off its reg number. Yet whenever i go on ebay or any part website my car is never listed in the model selection for fitment. The closest option is always the 1,9 Di which in theory i presumed was same car, 115bhp 85kw, etc. but it always says part not compatible !?!?!? i am at a loss as to what to purchase & would really appreciate any help, as really like the car & want to get it right.
