Default XC60 water in rear footwell

My 2017 XC60 ‘R’ design T5 has water gathering in the rear footwell drivers side. There is no sunroof and all the other footwells are dry and no sign of water in the boot. As the car is parked on a sloping drive the water gathers in front of the rear seats. After parking yesterday I noticed the water and emptied it out, this morning there was a puddle again. It had rained during the night and was still raining so I checked for any obvious sign of a leak. I could not see any sign of anything coming through the door seals. Don’t see how it could be anything to do with the air con as the car was parked all night. Would appreciate any suggestions that would help me resolve this problem.

I've had it in other cars where it leaks in through the door card if someone's taken the door card off and torn or not resealed the polythene/polystyrene door card liner.
