Question 2010 C30 2.0D Eloys Fluid

Hi Guys,

Got the little 'I' icon pop up on my dash a few days ago and a message displaying "Engine System Service Required". I held down the trip button and it showed the code 019 which I believe is related to the 'Eloys' fluid being to low.

I have seen various videos online showing the job to not be too difficult if you purchase a fluid transfer kit etc. However, once the fluid has been topped up, will the message on the dashboard dissapear? or is there a need to use a code reader of some sort to reset it?

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

Jacob.

Needs to be reset unfortunately - this tells the car it's been refilled etc. Volvo visit or a friend with Volvo software.

Hi Andy,

I thought this would be the case, Oh well, a trip to Volvo it is then!

Any rough ideas on pricing for a job like this from Volvo themselves?

Cheers,

Jacob.
