Rear door internal locks

Does anyone have internal lock buttons on the second row rear doors so passengers can lock the doors if they feel unsafe while waiting in the car. I have just noticed after nearly 6 years of owning my XC90 inscription, it has no internal rear door locks. I can lock them from the front but if a rear seat passenger were in danger while parked and no one was in the front they are vunerable.

Yes, locking button on rear door in MY22 XC60.

I wonder if they delete them when family pack with front door child locks.

Surely if they had them then that would only look their door? So anyone would simply be able to open one of the other doors? When we leave our daughter in the car and she is sat in the back she just leans through and locks herself in.

Also I have just checked. Mine is MY16 and has family pack. Just like yours, it does not have locking buttons on the rear doors either.

My V90 Inscription doesn't have it either. I am using locking doors from VOC app in required

Select reduce Guard and lock doors. Prevents doors bieng open from outside. But unlocks from the inside.

Yes I have used that before, but it has taken me nearly 6 years to realise there are no lock buttons on rear doors, just wondered if it is normal or a mis-build. I can see there are indents in the door where switches can be fitted. I sat in the back of my car for the first time yesterday and noticed there were no lock buttons.

This was the the same for MY17 Rdesign V90 and is current MY21 RDesign V90.

You cannot even lock the glove compartment in the My21 V90. Could previously.

The XC90 does not have a key lock on the glove box but it can be locked via Sensus screen using a 4 digit code that you have to remember to unlock it or risk never being able to access it again.
There was an owner on here a few years ago who bought a car and the glove box was locked and he could not unlock it as he did not know the code that whoever locked it had used and even Volvo could not open it either.
