S40 wiper blades

Need some wiper blades.

What is the size and fitment of wiper blades for 2005 S40?

What brand/ type is the best in your opinion?

EBay/amazon links appreciated.

I asked a similar question about a month ago now.

I ended up getting Bosch ones (aero) off Autobulbsdirect ltd. They were the cheapest at the time. Have a google search though.

I did have some Valeo ones (silencio - aero) but they didn't last very long?
The Bosch ones seem to be working well but it has only been a month.

In regards size well there is a bit of tolerance, Drivers side - 660mm to 650mm and passenger side - 500mm to 480mm.

The best brand are the ones you get from the volvo dealer they will last 3 years or more i have found no others will do this .
There are 2 qualities of BOSCH , the ones manufacturers demand and the ones you buy in halfords are NOT the top quality ones , so you get what you pay for ... i have an older car and have bought bosch from halfords as i cant get them anywhere else they need replacing at least once a year maybe more .

i will agree and on wiper blades volvo are quite cost effective last set i paid £35 last winter for still going fine not streaks nothing, i found many to almost be the same price so it was easy.

Bought mine from Halfords, BOSCH aero, paid about £35 for them and they are still going strong, no streaks or squeals.
Been on over FOUR years now !!!!

Yes, the genuine Volvo one's are good, I bought mine off ebay for a decent price

A thumbs up for the link that Jaygee posted. I get my wipers from here, top service and simple to use and to get the right blades for your car. Loads cheaper and where as Halfords have to order my blades in as they don't stock them due to being a larger than average blade so I just get them online now....

Does it matter, or will they fit the 2005 model also?
If it doesn't I think I'd just go for that one, £26 with express delivery seems better option for me.

The fitment changed at some point, mine is MY06 but has the older fitment so you will need to double check what type you need.
