Haha yeah, I was hoping it was someone on here, given the reg it may have been an enthusiast. I figured the MOT is so long gone they might have just completely forgotten about it and hopefully I was doing them a favour. Been there done that.

iv had an ex police car. dont believe the myth of perfect maintainance. they are just as bad as any other cars. out there.

Having served in the police I wouldn't touch an ex-job motor with a barge pole. Generally well maintained by garage staff but absolutely ragged by cops and the traffic motors have generally all been involved in numerous shunts over the years!
