200 saloon very Wanted!

looking for a daily runner 200 saloon in northern england/southern scotland.
Im in newcastle and am feeling the pull of moving up from my 340.

No concourse cars, something sensibly priced that can fend off the trolleys at Tescos/Asda/Sailsburys/Morrisons/Lidl/Aldi/Waitrose (depending on how much that month wage is!)

Cheaper the better (yawn, i know. but theres a credit crunch on.).
Im in no postion to take on a project, so the nearer to an MOT it is, the better.

Hi I am selling my father in laws 240GLT.He is not fit to drive any more. It is in Formby, Merseyside. Its a 'D' plate, silver, 4.5 months tax and MOT , 137,00 miles. Its going for £200 if you are interested.

Hi, thanks John.
Ive already spent many minutes drooling over it earlier in the day.
Unfortunatly for me its way out of my budget.
And Kev seems reluctant to part exchange my girlfriend into the deal.

Theres two Im trying to buy at the moment, just waiting to hear back from the sellers.
