Headlight Trim Wanted

My '93 240 SE is in need of the chrome/plastic trim pieces that sit on top of the headlights, they appear to have been snapped off as the fixings are still in place. They're not essential items at the moment but as they seem to be hard to come by I thought I'd get asking sooner rather than later and see if anyone has a spare pair.

i think i saw some on ebay very recently if not they always come up from week to week if its the chrome ones you are looking for good luck gary

Cheers, I saw them but they were identical and the fixings were in the same place on each which after looking at mine makes me think they're for either n/s or o/s only. I gave it a miss.

Tried your dealer??

You would be suprised how cheap some items are. If you are a member of VOC, then you also get a discount (my dealer gives 10%).

I got some new seals for arond the front sidelights (next to the headlights) for my 780 and they were only about £7 each!

Do you know I never thought of that?! Will give them a call as well as Swedish Motor Services who are quite local in Walthamstow. I will be joining the VOC in October as it works out better value (I think) rather than joining now and then renewing in the new year IIRC.

I think you only pay your membership fee from the month you join, so joing in July would cost less than say, February.

I also managed to find 2 new original door cards in my interior colour, interior panels and various other things, much easier than eBay!!
