Volvo on Call: Car is Offline

Hi there,
My Volvo on Call used to work perfectly until I went on holiday.
Car was on Heathrow Parking for 14 days and since then I have information

Car is Offline

It is not possible to communicate with your car right now because it has gone offline to save battery.

Start your car manually to bring it back online.

Since then I drove car several times even dealer was able to confirm that my subscription it's still valid and it should work.

Anyway half of Volvo on Call app seems to be working like Car Location but rest list Driving Journal, Opening/Closing Doors, Remote Turning On engine is not.

Tried to uninstall app. Trying from different mobile etc.

Dealer gave up and next and last option is to call Volvo.

Turn phone off and back on.

I once left the car at home, parked, for 28 days. After a couple of weeks, the car was in Standby mode as per the app, and after some more days, it went into Offline mode. I don't remember thr exact number of days it took to switch into Standby and Offline modes though.

When I came back from holiday and started the car, the app did not have any problem and started working as usual.

I remember reading somewhere that after a certain time it turns off to save power in the car; probably in the manual, but who reads that ...

I received an update to the VOC Android app today (version 4.0.6). Not sure if an equivalent update is available for iOS. Worth upgrading the app to see if that fixes your issue.

I have just deleted the on call app from my phone and re installed, everything is now working fine.

Last Android release notes detailed it was to fix car appearing offline bug...

I still had to clear my app memory and set it back up to fix.
