Wanted - Any Volvo 265

Hi,

I am new to the forum and have been enjoying the wealth of information. I would like to track down the 265 series from '77 to '80 and am interested in trying/buying.

I live in Ireland but would be happy to travel to UK and bring back on the ferry if I found the right car. Preferably within a 3/4 hour drive of the ferry ports of Holyhead or Fishguard in wales.

Not asking for much am I :-)

Would have to be pre 1981 for tax/insurance reasons in Ireland.

I THINK I saw one parked up and rusting in the front drive of a house in Worlds End Lane near Orpington/Green Street Green. Looked like it could do with saving.

rogerthechorister, that wasn't the white one was it? That is a late 80's 245 I think. Got to love google street view!!
