Default Seats, 240 front?

Hi. This could seem like heresy but I may be fitting 240 front seats in a 1962 121 I'm building for daily use. The originals are pretty ropey but I can adapt 240 fronts to fit using a spare pair of 120 seat base frames. I could use either blue cloth or those GLT tan leather ones but anything will do in a pinch. Hopefully the old seats can be rebuilt later and as I have several 240s anyway I can still re-use the modern seats afterwards.
Anyone in the midlands or thereabouts got anything?

Default Possible

Blue cloth would do if they're ok. Don't need perfect as new but do need working lumbar support and no big tears. 07717 362888. I'll give you a call.

Looks like you're on track but had you considered 300 seats? A pair of 240 seats are pretty wide. A 6 foot 4 friend used to swap a leather 164 seat from 120 to 120 for comfort but it didn't look right. Saw a pair of 300's in a Duett and they looked very good.

Default Alternatives

I did look at 300 seats as an option in a 131 but could only find 4 door seats at the time. 240 seats do fill up a 120 somewhat but I've done it a few times before without drama (rear seat passengers may contest that). There are some good looking 300 seats on ebay but the colour is way different to this cars interior.
I'd certainly consider 300 seats if there are any suitable ones about.
