Default Volvo S60 Concept. A glimpse of the next-generation Volvo S6

The coupe-inspired lines that gave the original S60 its characteristic stance are even more pronounced in the next generation. "The sporty design gives visual promise of an enthusiastic drive and I can assure you here and now that the all-new S60 will live up to that promise"

I quite like the front end...the middle isn't unpleasant...but first impressions are they got bored by the time they reached the rear panels...rear is hideous, but in a 3/4 rear view it doesn't look quite so bad. Hopefully they'll tone things down a bit by the time the production version goes on the market.

Oh well, at least I've got some material for my next Driver article!!!

Does anyone know about the Collision Warning with Full Auto Brake and Pedestrian Detection in more depth. Doesn't sound like a system you'll be able to switch off? What distance around the vehicle will these pedestrian sensors operate? How sensitive would it be? Would it activate for anything other than a pedestrian, say a dog? It does concern me that we will all no doubt eventually be driving cars which will take away a lot of driver judgement/decision, maybe one day in the future all, like the vehicles in some science fiction movies. Anyway, I love the front, from the front angled side on it's quite stunning but the back is not so impressive, sleek front, stumpy rear.....
