I have finally got around to flushing my heater matrix. I now have reasonably Hot air blowing in the car. My 2010 V70 has the d5244t19 engine. Both heater matrix pipes are located under the battery tray! On Vida how would I go about finding a cooling system schematics diagram? This engine model has the very expensive thermostat fitted at the back of the engine. I managed to find a video on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Eyan-u9IPg&t=622s .
There is a part he takes off the side of the engine at 09:50 on the video, seems to be a water manifold. Any help appreciated.

The part you refer to is the EGR valve, it is water cooled.

Not sure about a schematic, my Vida computer is playing up (since I dropped it) unfortunately.

You might get a diagram of the part in the repair/removal section of vida. Also there may be an image in the parts section.- I have had success in the latter in the past.

Cheers

Did I read that you changed your thermostat and housing yourself? any idea where the temp sensor is located.
