Default Gremlins- failed climates, tailgate, suspension, lights

Ok so having a series of issues. Below is my original post re the climate. But since then the powered tailgate has failed (and then resolved). And today there is a red suspension error (for the 4C) and a headlight error also. The last two are so new I haven’t had a chance to see if they too resolve. However safe to say there seems to be a growing number of glitches. These are all within the last fortnight. Going to get it booked in but wanted to make you all aware in case it’s a new ‘special feature’ that’s been introduced

Original post below:

So today - after stopping for lunch on a trip through the highlands - the climate totally packed in on our ‘22 V90CC (AAOS). Only realised when we had gone onto the trunk road and everything steamed up. No air flow at all at any of the vents. Of course it was raining so the condensation maxed out pretty quickly. Thankfully we have the heated windscreen so that made sure there was some visibility.

Managed to get pulled over and stopped the car. Locked it and restarted it. Didn’t fix it and the fans seemed to be non-functional. Thankfully the rain stopped and we got it a better place and called the road side assistance. We left the car whilst we waited and retuned after about 40 mins and still it wasn’t working. The roadside guy turned up shortly thereafter and of course it worked first time for him. He did a diagnostic check but it didn’t show up any issues (he did say the garage could go into it deeper).

So I guess it is a glitch - although a pretty odd (and annoying one). Anyone come across this before?

Do you by chance live in an area where rodents or mice are? They can do some nice damage to wiring under the body and in the engine bay. Worth a check under the bonnet for nlany evidence of chewing on the foam insulation or the underside of the engine cover.

This did cross my mind - although I thought it was a gremlin not a mouse

However the first one took place when we were away from home on holiday and the latter ones since we have even back. And all have rectified themselves since. (UPDATE including the suspension/headlight issue).

Mind you I had a cat that once took a 39 mile journey in engine bay of a car - so maybe it’s a travelling mouse (or gremlin!)

Have you tried running water down the side channels in your sunroof?

It sounds like possibly water ingress…..

Id be checking all 4 drain points are running clear.
