Default ABS....Again :(

Hi Again,

Some of you may remember a few months back I posted about my ABS module not working. After having the dry joints soldered, I had a RAM fault on the main ABS board, and 2 transistors/capacitors missing. After speaking with the chap who runs Mid-west ABS (an American company), he believed this was caused by those transistors being missing from the board.

I have since had the module off, and swapped it for another one (not the same product number, but I have been told that there are a series of them that match and are the same). When plugged into a diagnostics machine by the mechanic, we are still getting the same fault on the module, an issue with the RAM on the ABS module board. After having the dry joints done, and the module swapped, I am now at a loss as to how to get this fixed. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have any ideas as to what could actually be wrong?

My previous V70 was showing some fairly catastrophic codes relating to ABS and the cause was one of the fuses under the bonnet having a dirty set of pins. A quick rub with contact cleaner and a fault code clear sorted it all out.

Thanks for the help. I'll try that and see what happens. I really do hope it is something as simple as that.
