Volvo 240 Dog Guard
have bought a dog guard, but don't have the bolts for the brackets to the tapped points in headlining. can anyone tell me what size of bolts I need for these? Any other instructions would be useful too.
thanks |

RE: Volvo 240 Dog Guard
I can't remember the size of the bolts but I used two from a scrap car seat belt anchor point. They have a collar and sit a bit proud but I don't spend my time looking at them so dont' care.
Unless there was a guard previously in the car (Volvo type that is) you will need to drill for the roof clips to hold the guard up and also for the clips on the rear of the back seat to hold the guard down. I believe that Mr Plod does not appreciate the use of these guards when there is a 'third seat' also fitted. (This is possible when you use the type of bolt mentioned above.)
