Default Headlight lamp malfunction - Service required

Hello everyone,
So I did give the car a good wash and I also washed the engine area. Next day morning I see this notification malfunction, but all lights work okay under all the settings. If I leave it on "Auto" - I don't even get the lamp malfunction notification on the dashboard.
When I rotate the dial to another high beam setting- the ABL comes up.
Any thoughts. Do you think its just moisture? and may be taking the module out, giving it a dry and putting it back would work or do you think this is a big £££ job?
I don't really want to take it to a dealer as it is out of warranty. I live in UB2 and I will be visiting Bracknell RG12 today. Any one recommends any volvo garages you have used?

You need to get it plugged in to some Volvo gear - the ABL system has it's own computer and if you have the warning, and error code will be stored. It pertains to the ABL system, rather than the lights/bulbs themselves.

Brill thanks.. I have asked a local garage whom I have used so hopefully he can sort it out tomorrow.
Thanks again.
