I managed to complete the update today on my 2017 Xc60. Used a new sandisc 64gb stick and verified the download using the utility downloaded from volvo , but on approx 5 occasions during the update had an error message that the stick could not be read. Pressing 'exit' each time restarted the update which then carried on from where it had been when the error was flagged up. Update took approx 1.5 hrs.

I’ve just updated mine (2016 XC60) and it worked straight away, however, and I know it’s only a small thing, but the older satnav showed facilities along the way, Burger King, M&S etc - the new one doesn’t. Any tips?

You need to add the points of interest you want to see on the map.
