Anyone running 205/55/16 or 50 on a phase 1?

Decided to replace the original steel wheels on a 1999 S40 (Phase 1.5, as some of you folks like to call it) and had a set of Galactica wheels delivered. The tyres are shot and need replacing. The tyres on it are 205/55/16 and the rim/tyre looks pretty large, especially up against the original 195/55 on it.

I'm thinking I'll order 205/50/16 to be safe as I suspect these might rub? I'm not concerned about handling or looks, just I was never happy with the S40 ride and very slightly tempted to order 55 profile.

I'm currently reading through the old threads on tyre sizes here, but still interesting to here any fresh takes. Suddenly the old S40s have disappeared here - even 5 or 6 years ago I'd regularly see 5/day.

Never mind, I shall just stick with what Volvo have listed in the manual, 205/50/16.
