- the new firmware does not "ring" after the update. it just shows its version as an operator name
- if the auto connection is enabled then the searched device is displayed as the operator name (...name)

fixed:
- contacts syncing. syncing has frozen on some value and the bluetooth module stopped communicating via bluetooth

hey can not opt out of sat anymore? want cdchr instead. have an imiv on sat and the sound is much better. with a blue tooth it just crackles and gets worse sound.

I had the module for a long time in my 03 v70r and it worked good now i put in my 05 v70 and its not working well, i cannot even do a factory reset. I think its needs an update but it doesnt want to update either.

it looks like the update was not applied for a long time and it does not even support auto detection yet.

to be sure:
- did you use smaller spacers in the new PHM? i am not sure if my03 has Ericsson or Wavecom modem but my05 definitely has the Wavecom modem.
- i also hope that you have placed the bluetooth module into the new PHM and not just swapped whole PHMs (it is often not compatible).

if all is as mentioned and you have any issues then please send me an email (the first thread, in the order form) and i will send you steps on how to update it to the latest firmware via USB cable.

They do have the exact same modems, i didnt swap the whole unit as one car is pre facelift and the other post facelift so the complete unit is not gonna fit. I have never updated it before so thats correct. It is version 2017 or 2018? But it always worked and i hate updates when things are working good. If it aint broken... you know. Im gonna send you a mail with more details, thx!

I bought this fantastic bluetooth handsfree replacement card for my 01 S60 PHM. The sad thing is that everyone i talk to complain about the sound "it sounds like I am sitting in a box"
With orginal PHM the sound of my voice was good but with this its not..
Ive tried to change mic volume but that dont solve the problem..
What to do? Its useless like it is now!

it is quite a fight regarding voice call quality. but for example on my car it is still better than almost*any bluetooth TWS speakers.

regarding microphone gain: you have tried all 6 options and it does not have an effect (except*it is quieter or louder)?

you can also test it by switching to the headset in the armrest during the call. if it improves the voice quality then it still can be caused due to the microphone.

Yes I´ve tried to change mic volume from 1 to 6 wiht no improvment on voice quality. Tested the handset yesterday and it was much better.
I´ll replace the microphone in UEM to see if that will solve my problem.
(It was never an issue with original PHM radio card ).
