What else? Horn, rear fog lights, no washer fluid (top it up before you go to the test), any other bulb failure are the favourite "last minute" failures.

Had both rear fog lights fail on one car some time between dropping the car off and it going in for test while i was at work.

That was extra embarrassing due not only to my job but also i had given a colleague some stick for his works van failing its MoT on a dead rear fog light about 2 weeks previously.

He even got stick from the MoT test centre as they knew from the signwriting on his works van that he was an autoelectrican, at least i had some anonymity with my own car at a different test station! The bulbs came from the same place so the next person that got stick was the rep for the bulbs......................

Good luck for the test and let us know how it goes!

You mean refill the screenwash after filling it and then losing most of it on the floor when I pulled out the pump, yes I've done that :-D

At this juncture if I fail on a fog light I'd be absolutely delighted!

After what you've gone through to get to this point i'd be delighted and simultaneously highly annoyed (it rhymes with kissed off ) if it failed on a bulb or pair of bulbs.

Hopefully you've covered all eventualities and if it does fail, it's on something you couldn't have foreseen, as in something you could only see with the aid of an MoT ramp.

All bulbs currently working, of course this is no guarantee for tomorrow lol. MOT ramps, yes I'm currently looking at options to buy...maybe I should start a new thread on that topic!

The binding brake which I was trying to free up in their car park, rear discs a bit pitted. That's it. Plenty of verbal remarks lol! Emissions lower than a modern car, barely has any it's that eco friendly ;-)

Verbal remark / panic "your car has no petrol" as the needle was below the gauge. Sent him back to be patient and wait for it to slowly rise....
