Dave,
Thanks for the detailed and comprehensive advice, this is gold dust! Looks like I've got plenty to keep me busy then. Just need some more hours in the day and we'll be sorted |

Oops! That's embarrassing Mark! I just copy and pasted from my order history, obviously they've changed the links on that as well.
Sure they're not Stabilus, if they are i'll have even more egg on my face! Maybe the pair that failed just out of warranty were SGS in that case and i'm confusing them. Finding the dead (one completely died, the other had some life so kept it in the shed for dire emergencies) pair will be tricky. Been a few years now (4+) and i've been asleep since!

@Laird Scooby, just need to clarify something...
Going to try a reverse flush today. Sounds silly but in the method you mention removal of top rad hose, then hose in to rad (once stat removed) but no mention of bottom hose off...I assume this needs to come off for the coolant to get out? Plus did you have a recommendation for EG coolant? Thank you again Russ |

Just to be clear, use the G48 concentrated when you refill, not before using the flushing agent! Reading it back, i can see there could be scope for confusing that! Hope that clarifies everything!
