Default 2005 2.5T V70 Remap?

I have a 2005 V70 2.5T and want to extract a little more power.

A remap seems like the logical route. I know the 2.5 lumps aren't the strongest in the range of 5 cylinders but wondered if anyone had gone down this route.

I live near Reading, are there any good tuners this way?

Can't point out any specific tuners but pretty sure Volvo will do you a polestar remap on the 2.5T engine.

Will be expensive though.

There are plenty of guys about who can map the p2 chassis.

Just all depends on how much you want to spend and what you're looking for realistically.

Some may point out the commoners such as to use;

Shemtek based in Nottingham or
Tim William's based in Coalvil

I have had the stage 3 BSR tune on my 2008 S60 T5 now for over two years without any issues at all.

I change my engine oil and oil filter every 6000 miles and the engine has now covered 223000 miles, does not use any oil and is still using the same K24 turbo it came with.

I have owned the car for 11 years and love every minute of driving

Mine is done by Shemtek. I have been using it for 2 years, no issues.

Thanks so much. I’m based near Reading. I’m thinking of using http://www.mwrperformance.com/ if anyone has used them before.
