PCP Owners query
Hello,
Has anybody had previous proactive contact from their Volvo dealers before the end of their PCP where they inform you the car is now worth more than the outstanding finance due? I have had a similar thing from other brands before. I suspect being a low mileage T8 this will be worth good money with the 2nd hand values holding out. Is this something Volvo does with their PCP customers? I could be interested to walk away from it (no faults), but its really just not needed with covid changing the job market for me, and i've had my fun with owning a 406bhp sleeper. Thanks all. |

I’ve had my dealer contact me on previous occasions however they don’t seem as proactive as other brands. Values are on the increase and dealers are short on stock currently. If you’re seriously considering selling yours now to a dealer try the guys at Volvo Tonbridge.

It does sometimes pay to keep an eye on the settlement figure toward the end of the agreement and compare this to the trade in value.
On my last car, I was able to trade it in six months before the end of my PCP without suffering any negative equity issues. But don’t expect the finance provider to tell you when the optimum surrender date will be - obviously they want you to carry on until the planned surrender date to maximise their profits.
