Blocked fuel/water drain pipe below fuel filler
Hello Volvo Community.
Just bought my very first Volvo and loving it. Now when trying to clear the blocked fuel/water drain pipe located just below the fuel filler pipe behind the filler cap in recess. I stupidly pushed the wire I was using to hard and pushed the pipe out of the rubber housing. Please be kind before I hear words like what a plonker. I am now left with a small hole and cannot get to the pipe. I am not sure if I can get to it by removing the rear wheel arch lining or from inside the boot. Or another method. Any advice please would be much appreciated. |

Welcome to the forum.
It would help if you stated what year your V40 is. There is the classic 1966 - 2004 and the later ones which are very different cars.

I know this is an old post but did you ever retrieve the drain pipe and manage to relocate it? I managed to push the grommet out while cleaning the tube today and I am considering removing the wheel arch liner if that's the way to go.
