Default V70 rattle and squeak, 2002 petrol 2.5

Hello, I have a rattle / squeak on my 2002 V70 2.5 auto petrol. This happens when the car is stationary or moving and isn't suspension. Sounds like it's coming from under the center console. It's not a metallic rattle but more like creaky bedsprings from a couple going at it hammer and tongues in the room next door in a cheap hotel on an old bed. It is worse when the car is in gear but still happens when in neutral.
May or may not be related, but the power steering squeaks / vibrates when parking on full lock.
Initial thoughts are engine mount or gearbox mount. Can anyone offer any thoughts or ideas what this could be. Any ideas are appreciated. Andy

Does the squeak go away when you turn the fan speed up?

Re the power steering, have you checked the reservoir level? Pump will groan quite loudly if fluid is low, especially at full lock.

Thanks. I will check the fluid level. I did more investigation on the noise today - it's definitely the exhaust vibrating that causes it. Whether it is rubbing on something I am not sure. I can grab the tailpipe when the engine is running and stop the noise or shake it to make the noise.
