Default brake Master cylinder

i am having an issue with my braking system Low Pedal and Soft brakes i had my pads replaced front and rear , car had been driving and braking fine for the first 6 weeks to suddley soft brakes with next to no stopping power after taking it to the garage this moring i am being told that a new brake Master cylinder is needed. car only has 84000 mile on the clock

Depends if you trust the garage. I'd have thought a bleed of the system first to be able to claim it was the master cylinder at fault.
At that mileage I would doubt it, but.......

like Bungo said, try to bleed all the brakes and make sure you top up the brake fluid again

tell us how it goes 84k miles seems too early for it to go imo

128K miles and still on the original master cylinder AFAIK.
