Default Help needed V50 2.0d

Hi folks,

Need urgent help with pics of engine area for a V50 2.0d (58 plate). I am trying to help out a fellow Volvo driver who is at end of tether and about to scrap the car. Car went in for a new rad but the idiot mechanic left alot of plugs and tubes hanging lose. When owner was driving home car went into limp mode. I managed to finally start car up but it runs very rough and will not go past 30mph or even get uphill. Car is just too good to scrap.
Any pointers be very appreciated

Best regards
Mo

Seems scrapping is the option or breaking. Engine is fecked ,had the codes read and its looking very expensive. Mechanic option has been already tried and resulted in police involvment as he claimed the car owner threatened him with a weapon , unbelievable as he was very calm at time.

Get a decent mechanic who knows modern cars, French ones,as the engine is a citroen/Peugeot lump, to diagnose the actual problem, just reading codes is pretty well a waste of time, no point using real old school mechanics on this sort of vehicle, you need to prove what is wrong, I cannot quite see why the engine would be damaged now, it's most probably a vacuum pipe issue linked to turbo solenoid, how do you know they are back on the correct way round?

It only managed to start back up after the pipes/tubes went back on. Theres something not quite right with all this saga, maybe something the owner isnt telling me. As far as i can see the car drives perfect upto 30mph but when you go uphill or put foot down it gets engine system message on screen. Some pics of fuel lines i found here dont match with what i see in the car, seems few bits are missing from car and theres alot of air bubbles coming from the high pressure pump side.
