XC90 D5 S for sale available soon

Looking at another car, so my much loved 2005 '90 D5 S will be for sale soon.

Will post pics later, but for now some info.

115,000miles
FSH
Leather seats
Pioneer 6" display DAB DVD stereo fitted in place of original stereo - all steering wheel controls and reversing sensors work as normal
Reversing camera
Detachable tow bar with twin electrics
18" aftermarket alloys with branded tyres all around 7mm tread
Magic blue pearl paintwork
Sidesteps with rubber treads
New spline sleeve and angle gear Aug 2010
New CEM and water ingress kit repair to rectify know issues with this MY Jan 2011
New battery Dec 2014

This is a well loved car, in good condition (considering it is nearly 10 years old) very capable and all running well no MOT failures. Excellent runner, starts first time etc. 41mpg over 500 miles at weekend, mostly motorway at 70mph.

I have been told there are similar vehicles on sale for over 7k, but surely this is way over priced!
Would be interested in any offers around £5500 as a starting point.

Anyone out there who reads this and can give me an honest and sensible steer on price would be much appreciated also.

Would be good to sell to someone through forum, not on Autotrader yet.

Instead of the faulty infotainment system?

It was really easy to install the DVD..... Got my local car radio shop to install it!

It was actually quite easy for them I understand. They just had to get the right modules so that it integrated into the MOST system and the steering wheel controls and reversing sensors worked. All done in half a day and no issues. Almost two years on and it's been flawless (much to my relief, I hate things not being 'just so').

BTW, for info I still have the original radio and CD player parts that were taken out in order to instal the double din stereo. Will sell with car.

Do you have any pics of the interior?? and what colour leather are the seats?? Looking to get an xc90 in the next few weeks, whne is yours likely to be available?/

Hi Jon,

Will post some pics of interior in next day or so. Leather seats are dark grey (almost black?).

I've not yet found the right car to change to, and am in the process of putting the personal plates on retention to ultimately transfer onto new car, but anticipate car available in a couple of weeks or so (depends on retention of plates and finding new car to the spec I want).

I'm keeping a note of those who have expressed an interest so I can be fair to those who've asked first at such time as I have a definite date the car will be available.
