Good place for towbar fitting - Berks/Hants

Hi,

I need a towbar fitting to our 850R Estate.

The Volvo main dealer quote is around £700 so I am looking for a cost effective alternative.

Can anyone recommend a third party tow bar fitter in Berkshire (around the Newbury area) or Hampshire (around the Hook area)?

Just had one (Witter with twin electrics) fitted by:

Len Simpson Glass
Priory Farm
Andwell
Hook
Hampshire
RG27 9PA
01256 764974

A friendly firm, and cheap at £185 + VAT.

I will report back if there are any problems.

Average price for twin electrics in Suffolk and Hampshire/Berkshire seems to be about £245-£250 including VAT.

The highest price I found was £258 + VAT.
[Apart from Volvo Main Agent, of course]
