Default Rear facing child seats

Hi,

Has anyone had a problem with rear facing child seats in the XC90? Mine won't fit in
the passenger seat or in the middle seat at the back. The seatbelts are too short! Its fit in every other car I've tried!

Volvo don't seem to want to know saying some seats will fit even though they've not tested any! They sell a seat but only for use in the back - no use when you want your baby up front!

Currently I cant take my son out in the car on my own and had to resort to using my wifes car instead yesterday!

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Try the "Which" site for their reports on car child seats.

All the best, Peter.

This seems to be a general problem with Volvos.
Your best bet might be to go to a Mothercare which has fitting facilities and try a few.

Ours is in the back seat because of the passenger airbag, the back seat has isofix fittings at either side but not in the middle
From what I know it's not recommended to place the baby seat where you intend to place yours
