Default Driver Door - Locking "Push Button"

I have a 2015 S80 and it has been a wonderful car. It has just gone through 100,000 miles and driver door opening with the fob has started playing up. All doors and boot lock and unlock with the fob except the driver door.

Door mechanism appears to work on the driver door but the "Push Button" does not raise enough....it moves but not high enough for the door to open.

Is this a problem with the door actuator or as the "Push Button" does move...but not enough for the door to open...is it an adjustment ?

Welcome your advise / insights in how this irritating problem can be fixed...?
