Volvo V790 1999 - 2DIN radio?
I've got a quick question that seems hard to be answered by a forum or google search.
I have a '99 Volvo V70 station car that has a single din radio. I would like to know if a double din radio would fit this type of car. The space below the radio I have now is used for storing items, but I am wondering if it is removable so that the lower part of a double din radio fits there. |

The plastic tray is removable, however you might need to cut a little on the sides the plastic fot the "modern" 2 DIN to get in. You will also need an adapter loom if your car has an Volvo radio now fitted (which is cheap).

Thank you, glad to have it confirmed now. I currently have a Grundig radio, so the adapter is not necessary.
Now to find a nice double din Android Car PC with Stereo... |
