Default Custom Intake Group Buy

I am in the process of getting a custom intake pipe made up for my T4 after looking about and finding none out there this is now in the process of being researched by the maker and getting it all measured and a prototype made up.

The fabricator has said the more he can make the bigger discounts he can offer for anyone else looking on the forum so I want to put it out there to see if anyone else would be interested in having a custom intake made for there t4's

Please post here is you are interested.

Once I get more information on materials, costs etc I will update here.

I also am going to do a rolling road after I have fitted the intake. I had a rolling road last month as the car stands now which made 210 bhp so will know the difference in power before and after as well for members.

Please feel free to copy and repost this on any other volvo sites where members might be interested.

Thanks I'll contact them to find out some more information as need to know diameter of the pipe throughout and also the picture shows some extra connections might be a library photo but. Will see what they say works out about £100 delivered hoping to have custom one for £80 or less than that if more people interested.

With custom one looking at it mainly being alloy with just silicon connections each end so it can be either a polished finish or even powder coated to the customers requirements. The silicon should also be a selection of colours all being well.

The main advantage I can see over the europeantuningshop one is that alloy metal won't get soft or collaspe with pressure and if further mods are added to your car it will make it more stressed the more boost you put through it.

I can see the silicon one they make has reinforced ribs as this must be a issue also they can only take bank transfer or ideal payment with uk one can take cash, bank transfer paypal etc. Also the ptc can be deleted out the pipe or extra nipples can be added custom for your choice.

I know from my recent issue with my own car the air flow counts my air filter was blocked and it lost me about 50 bhp after they rolling roaded it and seen the intake pipe collaspe due to being choked the air filter was removed and i then got 210bhp so air intake can make a big difference to your car.

Will update with what reply I get from them .

Has anyone got a europeantuningshop one fitted that they can feedback on ?

I'd be up for that especially if it was a hard pipe as apossed to silicon, now I've seen that silicon one on that link, be interesting to see results and price....

Sounds interesting....

My car has a problem with the air flow going to the maf as well.
Depending on price and availability you can put me down as a potential buyer

Update

Standard intake pipe is now in the hands of the fabricator at the moment.

The main issues he came back with is the silicone 110 degree pipes at each end as the turbo end needs to be a reducer to fit on the turbo but he's going to get them custom made from his supplier to make sure it can be done.

The main update is he can make it and it's just getting it all measured up fittings on it (need 3 for T4 if keeping the ptc which I will be doing) and then I should have a better idea on price, options, photos and what difference it will make.
