what does the red light on the side of the trip computer screen mean?

Outside temperature is below 2 degrees I believe, a frost warning if you like

if means, stay in the car, as it is COLD outside, less than 3 deg and it comes on

No no no, it means drive the car, and drive it fast, cold is good, intercooler charge temprature is low so boost is higher

Look at it tomorrow in daylight, you'll see a wee frost symbol whihc the light is inside of. I thought Volvo would have made the front sign light up instead, as at night time you've no clue what the light it.

The computer display also changes on my car (assume on others too) to show the temperature.

(A minor (and I mean very minor!) frustration as I (like many) usually have the display set to 'miles to zero' and this gets 'over-ridden' by the temparature setting. )

I've mine always on the temp, I never noticed it changed lol
