  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default Alarm module

Hi.im going to replace the battery on alarm module on my s60 2017 to fix error maintenance required.
Is is does not fix or pcb board is corroded can i replace with used one from e bay or does it need to be coded.

IIRC there is a procedure in Vida to set up the alarm, as I'm 99% sure I have used it. However, I don't believe that its necessary. - just noticed your car 2016.
That said the cars in question were 2002 + 2004 V70, not cars of your age.
Also the cloned VIDA/DICE setup will not work on you car. - too modern.

I don't know but..

If you intend to renew the alarm regardless, if you fit the alarm and it needs coding thats the only bit you pay Volvo for. If it don't need coding you x2 win...

Volvo will tell you it needs coding ( perhaps)
They do say you you need to use Vida/Dice when you renew the car battery and refill the engine oil... neither of which I have found are 100% necessary.
