Hi all,
I've got a small wear patch on the passenger side on my roof so I got the wife to operate the roof as I filmed earlier. It turns out it's the rubber stop that the storage top hits when it's closed that's causing the problem, the roof is catching on the stop as it lowers. I've taken a screenshot and circled the stop. Any ideas how to adjust this? Or is it more likely to be the roof mechanism itself that needs adjusting? The car is booked in to have the timing belt done and the roof recalibrated on Tuesday as I'm hoping that's all it needs to get the windows to lower when the roof is operated, so if I need to do anything I'm thinking I might as well do it now before it gets recalibrated. The alternative is I might ask them to have a quick look at it on Tuesday and make any adjustments, but obviously that will push the labour cost up so I'd rather do it myself if possible. Anyone got any ideas on this? I know you're not supposed to stop the roof when it's mid cycle but as it's getting recalibrated on Tuesday anyway will this cause any issues? Thanks
