Default Indicators flash when cars been parked

Hi,

A startnge problem has appeared, when the cars parked for no reason the indicators will flash after say about 30 mins.

unlocking and relocking the car fixes the problem, but it sometimes returns and the same routines has to be followed.

Ive tried locking the card with the alarm ensors inside deactivated but that doesnt help.

I guess its like the alarm tripping but without the siren... (i assume)

Anyone have any ideas maybe?

Regards

Scot

could be siren fault,if communication has been lost with the siren it will give a visual warning or if if the internal battery back up has failed also, changed many alarm sirens, need to check fault codes at dealer to be sure.

when it does this, do you get 'alarm triggered' on the message display?

Ive not checked this, but I've noticed today that it happens when locking with the key fob and the light flash when the dead locks engage.

Default Update

Well it looks like the connector didnt fix it.

If I were to pick up a new siren, does it then need Volvo to marry it up with the alarm or can I just plug the new one in and away we go.

To be honest I think I probaly know the answer if past experience with spare parts goes.....

You can get a much cheaper siren service kit from FRF volvo or any other dealer much cheaper than siren by itself and includes new siren .
