Thanks for your reply Alphadave11,

The car stals the first 5k in neutral position even without the clutch. Do you stil think the clutch switch could cause this?

Sometimes when the engine gets warmer the engine almost stals, in neutral the rpm's drop to 300 and go back up to 1400 and get stable someware at 800. After that point the car drives without any problem.

At the Volvo garage they spent one day figuring out whats wrong. Tomorrow day 2 starts. I hope they figure it out fast..

how much is one ....some cars receive info from clutch switch ..if its faulty can cause all sorts of symptoms

They've narrowed it down to the EGR valve.

So thats wat they are going to replace hoping it will solve the problem..

if its egr problem you can have a flat spot in power usually around 1500 to 2 k

hi,

Can anyone tell me if i can switch a throttle body on a 05 S40 II without having to hook it to a computer ?
