I reckon that with the wheels painted and some chrome nuts it could look good I had thought about painting the wheels shiny black - but perhaps silver or even white might look better? Easy enough to repaint them a different colour if it doesnt look right I guess.......

I agree, I think silver or white would look better than black. Silver looks particularly smart:
