240 General: - Volvo 263???

Has anyone seen one of these before?
Its a 240 Hatchback with 3 doors - very unusual.

As far as I know it was a prototype, if not theyre very very rare! Look very nice though!

Steve's right, these were prototypes produced to test the market - they were never put into production.

That is one weird-looking vehicle - - it looks too much like a 300!

Would have been good to have beaten BMW to a quality hatchback though.

I think it's horrible. It looks like a squashed-in estate but without the carrying capacity.

It shows zero design flair. I think the design of the hatch could have been designed by a primary pupil. There were more stylish cars on the market than that at that time considering it was a prototype.
