How do I get into chip-tuning?
Hello, I have been trying to find resources about how to learn chip tuning, how does somebody start doing it?
I have a volvo v70 2004, 2.4d 96kw, and would like start learning on my car. I know it can be risky, but I just havent found any videos or websites that explain it clearly, I simply heard that people who want to learn tuning on their car should go to their car forums and thats why Im here. Where do I start? What gear should I get? What software should I choose? I have a lot of questions and I hope someone can give me advice. cheers |

start by contacting some car tuning software company's like KESS or similar they do training and franchise opportunity's. vdash also do car tune packages via t5d5. a good working mechanical background would be an advantage . you will also need liability insurance in case you fubar a customers car

Tuning with the right software is safe on these engines, i had it done with rica
I have over 200 hp without any issues for over 12 years now. The engine your having is the same block BUT with a smaller turbo, so the smaller turbo will limit the increases somewhat. |
