Factory style navigation system for XC90's - Page 24

Hi, I'm looking at purchasing a 03 XC90 with factory Sat Nav, RSE and phone but on the test drive the radio would or sat nav would not switch on, not sure about the rear screens, however the boot mounted changer had power to it. The wireless headphones seemed to be missing also. Could you PM me a price to have this repaired (it seems to be a common part to fix all of these) as I could use the info as part of the negotiations with the dealer if he is unable / unwilling to repair. skimming through this thread , There seems to be a lack of actual customer "feedback" etc despite so many pages etc ?

Hello Elliot,

My Factory RTI unit has stopped working (cannot read disc).

Are you able to repair or change the original satnav system or change to a more modern one and still use the inbuilt original screen?

No one seems to talk about price either , how much does a factory style satnav cost to be installed ?

Peter (Elliot) fitted it to my new car 3 years ago. Device looks identical but is touch screen. Sat nav device is ok. Europe wide maps on SD card. Post code search etc but no updated maps yet.

Device was fitted with 2 x 7 inch screens in back and DVD player (also connected to Sat Nav screen as well). Price was very reasonable all in but my guess is Peter is busy elsewhere now so price I paid may not be relevant.
