Default Overdrive wiring - 145

Quick question - were there blind wires for overdrive included in cars without overdrive units?
Seems like a dim question, I know, but there's this third wire attached to fuse 4 that when removed makes no noticable difference to normal business. Could it be a blind wire included in the harness?
Thanks,
Kean

you know, I think you're right.
The third wire on fuse 4 was the seatbelt warning light - hadn't noticed because initial checks were whilst parked on driveway and then put seatbelt on before heading out for a drive!)
Still, it finds its way to the top of the transmission, so a good one to follow.

Now need a connector pin for the back of the speedo so the Overdrive light can come into the circuit.

All good fun!
