  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

A whole £2.20 spent on a wash, in the hope that it makes it look a bit more 'looked after' when it goes in for its MOT on Sat.
And a hoover out.

Mechanicals always take priority over cosmetics, as an old motorcycling buddy used to say, 'chrome don't get you home'.

Cheapskate - i spend at least £2.99!

That said i splashed out £4.99 for the last one to include an underbody wash for the same reason as you washed yours, to make it look more "looked after" on the MoT ramp.
It paid off as he noticed the new exhaust, springs, shocks, suspension bushes etc which he didn't last year despite it all being done (except the exhaust) prior to last years test.

Your biker mate is right and i always go for mechanical integrity over a nicely polished bodyshell.
